To mark the 1988 SYDPEX (Sydney Philatelic Exhibition), Grenada Grenadines issued this fun set of six stamps featuring Mickey and his friends enjoying the sites and activities of Australia.  They picture Ayers Rock in Northern Territory, a sheep station, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, football, Sydney's Opera House, and a camel race.

These stamps also commemorate Mickey's 60th anniversary.  Since his debut in the short film Steamboat Willie in 1928, Mickey has become one of the most recognizable cartoon characters in the world.
